New Life Expo

Last week, a friend of mine invited me to go to the New Life Expo exhibit.

“Trust me, you’ll love it!”

As a “new” New Yorker, I felt I must follow all my new acquaintances’ suggestions so I could rapidly integrate in this amazing city full of diverse events.
Speaking of the word diverse, this was really a diverse one.

First of all, as I entered the elevator of the stylish 1940s New Yorker Hotel, I heard scary conversations like: “Did you end your 45-day fast tonight?” “Yes, it wasn’t that bad to tell you the truth this time. Don’t you think?”

I decided to get off a floor before without really knowing the exact reason for such an impulsive decision. As soon as I got out, I saw a few people laying in hammocks smartly organized in the hallway with strange remote control-like weapons leaning on their heads, stomachs, knees and chests. My friend is there.

“Here you are! You’re late! Try these; they are low laser therapeutic machines. Do you have any pain?”

“Of course,” I said, “I have a bladder infection, and I’ve been on Advil pills for the last few days.”

“Advil? How primitive! You should know better! Here, sit down and try this one. Click menu then number two for infections and wait 15 minutes. By the way, my tooth is almost ok because of my Red Laser Enhancer. I am scheduled with Astarius the Shamanic Sound Healer in ten. Catch with you later!”

After the fifteen-minute rehabilitation of my bladder, I decided to hit the land of my favorite, the Shambhalala Meditation Healing Tools booth. Based on the science of Metatronic and the laws of Sacred Geomancy, these meditation tools were designed by His Holiness Jetsun Gyalwa Jampa Gonpo the “Reincarnated One” (Tulku referred to as the Living Saint ‘Buddha Maitreya’ from Tibet). Anyway, enough theory now, I wanted to experiment.

The headphones were vital for the connection with the sound of invocations and universal prayers. The pure crystal, gold, copper and magnets sculpted in sacred geometric forms resonated through my hands and brain, inducing me to enter a meditative, almost sleep state. I didn’t realize that there was a long line of visitors waiting for me to wake up and get out of the only experimental seat of the booth. Well, I made a contribution to Free Tibet and moved to the third floor, where a Sufi, a Tantric, and a Bahkti Yoga workshop were expecting me to be on time (obviously without any stress).

Enlightened, as ever, it was almost six o’clock in the evening. My sister called me hysterically. I am late for dinner. (She might need an emergency soothing laser therapy). No stress, I decided to give up going to dinner with her. I am invited to take a picture of my aura. I had a desperate urge to know how my chakras were doing here in New York, and if the color of the aura matched my desired and imagined one. After all, my sister I could always see, my aura not.

The free 15 pages of advanced Kirlian Aura-Chakra analysis included Mind-Body-Spirit and State Of Mind-Body Graphs, Individual Color Analysis, Aura Size, Chakra Activity and a brief history of Aura photography. I was more than willing to finally leave this Manhattan oasis of intended well-being.

Healers, psychics and physicians from all over America have shown the best holistic approaches in alternative medicine. Now, it’s up to us to keep up with what we’ve learned.

Maybe my sister is still interested in knowing how I got rid of that terrible New York City stress.
