Styled Set Designer
Once upon a time there were set designer who used to design sets. Models who used to model and singer who used to sing.
After working in a Paul Smith campaign which has given his career a series shot of mainstream worthyness set designer Gary Card created a big buzz challenging those rules. He is in the new issue of the AnOther Man photographed by William Seldem and styled by Nicholas Formichetti modeling amongst sets that he has created himself. The six photo shoots take place in an an art studio set filled with painted canvases He nonchalent-ly wears in a dandyish style one-upmanship statement Missoni, Paul Smith, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Comme Des Garcons Homme Plus, Kenzo Homme Cardigans…. The look is coming from a generation of young people from senior year in high school to about 25 that likes to dress up and look nice in seersucker and madras.
