Joelle Lifestyle - The World at Home

I started the Joelle Lifestyle simply because my friends wanted to know where I was and what I was doing.

Since I was a child , I constantly traveled to different and interesting new places. At the beginning because of my family, my parents liked to live well and cherished travel. Later because of work, I arranged it to be” the excuse ” , but mostly and essentially because my spirit of a Sephard Jewish origin never renounced to give up its caravan -desert- gypsy nature. As a result I met throughout the world amazing and very interesting people with who I still work today and have become my long time very good friends.

Before the Joelle Lifestyle blog, I had a store in Sao Paulo, Brazil where I lived for 20 years. I sourced created and developed ‘Objects of desire‘ which I brought to the store from different countries like India, Europe, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, Mexico, Madagaskar, Brazil, Burma, Africa, Philippines, countless other places.

Within the years both in my personal and professional I got several awards among them:

The objects would vary from expensive design home accessories from Munich to the most unusual tribe bracelet from Katmandu, vintage Levi’s jeans bought by the pound in American Indian reserves near Santa Fe new-Mexico, to the straw place-mats made by natives in the Amazon river in Brazil. Every object sourced, had a story behind to be told, a magic scent from “ailleurs ” had to be savoured.

By traveling around the four continents sourcing for objects, well before globalisation and the internet I learned about other people lifestyles, culture and habits and had a need to one day at last, publish and communicate what I saw, felt, and lived in numerous adventures and instants captured by thousands of colorful photographs with my Nikkon.

Internet came around the corner, blogs were still something new. A friend suggested I posted about myself on a blog .This is how the joellelifestyle started, almost as an accident. It was a quick tool to keep most of my friends connected to what I was doing and seeing. When someone wanted to know about my recent events I would just say :” Read my blog”

Today , after three years, my blog is read not only by my friends, through natural traffic but by men and women of various ages in 86 countries in 12 different languages.

Born in Milan, with a degree in industrial design and visual communication in Sao Paulo, I now live in New York. I post daily with visual references and short texts about my life and interests in the area of art, design, fashion, retail, branding, spirituality, hospitality, wellness spas and travel destinations . Many great people have looked for me with the desire of being featured or with interesting suggestions and ideas for the blog.

In addition to the blog, I recently started a custom-fit lifestyle consulting through the web and in life over the phone, to people that seek an overall balance and advice in the main three areas regarding their lives.

The personal lifestyle consulting consists in helping set specific goals and coach to their achievement, deal with personal issues, shop for homes or special occasions. The professional lifestyle consulting provides information for their companies about requested latest trends, market behavior, brand management, product sourcing , creative direction and visual merchandising. The leisure lifestyle consulting helps managing travel destinations by guiding the client in selecting of the latest, best and most appropriate professionals in the market regarding their specific needs. more
