Neapolis Secret Cabinet
Among the many interesting historical sites in Naples that I recommend visiting is the Archeological Museum. Here is a short list of my favorite collections with a special emphasis of the recently inaugurated “Gabinetto Segreto” (Secret Cabinet).Ancient Roman culture had no sense of a shameful nature for all sexuality, and viewed sexually explicit material very differently to most present-day cultures. And if you wish to take that special trip and go back in time…this is the right place to be in.
Angels of Beauty, Part 2
Lately one should be careful with the sun. Unfortunately, due to the thinning of the Earth’s ozone layer its rays can be stronger and more dangerous on some days causing irreplaceable damages to our skins. Having lived in Brazil for so many years I have become addicted to a great suntan but more the ever I am aware about skin aging and I know for a fact that I should be prepared before exposing it long hours under the Mediterranean sun—my favorite by the way.
Eco-designs at 2008 Milan Salone
This year at the Milan Furniture Fair, apparently there was so much to feast one’s eyes upon! At the main Salone buildings you could see how mainstream design is reacting to the growing demand for sustainable design and, although not everything is rooted in green, there were definitely some eco-gems.
Take your Time at MoMA
