New Museum

New Elevated Park

The High Line is a public park built on a defunct railway that runs 30 feet above Manhattan between 10th and 11th Avenues, from 34th Street to Gansevoort Street in the meatpacking district. The first phase opened to the public June 9, 2009.

New Hotels Glut – The Ace

After inaugurating their first three locations (Portland, Seattle, and Palm Springs) from a far, I was psyched to learn the hipster-brand ACE Hotel had finally opened an east coast locale in New York City. Decidedly masculine vibed the hotel should soon be crawled with indie bands.
