Fantastic.
Certainly the finest blogs I have ever come accross. The expression embedded with sensuality, research, detailing and realities of life. All this served on a platter of absolute intellect.
Absolutely fascinating, the level of knowledge that goes behind this is incredible.
Keep up the good work.
Sincere most regards, now and always.

I loved your post on dating, especially the little remark made by the guy about you having all Arab guys at your feet if you were more submissive. I think it’s exactly the contrary (the prize is higher!…)
We all know about the “Pirate and Princess” syndrom. Macho guys are attracted by beautiful women with personality.
Still, beautiful women with personality know that, once in a while, the have to play the “damzel in distress” role, so that their man call feel man enough…

Hi
I spent the evening thinking about your blog. what I like is when you had the spirituality angle. I like to see what went wrong your mistakes and the past of rich lifestyle and the tools you use to go to the light, that was amazing. a narrative of stories about you all the stuff. I love that and want to hear more!
the technorati.com is a great resource it tells the 1% of the best bloggers.
You are a leader and can make this happen. tell the reader about your dating, your money struggles , your friends, your roommates your truth is the most exciting lifestlye that exists.

What a ‘modern nomad’ you are !!!
In spite of the turbulences of our human condition, you seem to enjoy life. And not everybody can say the same. And perhaps
because I also enjoy life ‘my way’ I can perceive this little great nuance of grasping our lives at the fullest.
I only hope that we have enough energy to find constantly corners and secrets to continue our own path for a jovial and
entertaining journey, worth living it

Bjos saudosos.

Dear Joelle, I did not read you for some time now, and I happily notice some beautiful changes in your website ! A new intro… More colors, more options … An endless pleasure for curious people like me !
I read your words about your father, and it brought tears to my eyes. Tears of joy of course ! How beautiful it is to see people united in the sacred family bonds. A daughter proud of her parents. And how proud of you must your parents be !
I also read your other blog : the power in you. I am currently thinking a lot about one specific issue.
Our relation to the infinity which transcends our human life and the deep human physical atachment we feel towards our loved ones. I might be reconciling my eternal soul with my present physical body and coming to terms with that duality, the eternal and the mortal.
Food for thoughts ?
Look forward to see you soon. Thank you for your wonderful blogs !

Dear Joelle!
First, I wanted to say that I really liked the website, your thoughts, and especially the questions you provoke.
There is so much that can be said about God being a designer that I don’t even know where to begin.
Just thinking about the “Da Vinci code” that is about to hit the screens soon, and the whole idea of secret societies, the entire Masonic movement is based on the construction and design of the Holly Temple, the manifestation of the concept of “mind over matter”.
I personally believe that the “green” design, as beautiful and natural as it may be, is a possibility for only a select few that can afford to live this way, and for the rest of humanity, the only way to live in peace with nature is by figuring out fast enough what is our role within the “bigger picture of creation” before mother nature will feel the necessity to help us wake up (it can get pretty nasty). I invite everyone who is looking to explore the Kabbalistic understanding of creation, existence and the ultimate purpose of life, to visit our website www.kabbalah.com or to call one of our instructors @ 1-800-kabbalah ( 1-800-522-2252 )

Your thoughts are vitally important in whatever you are doing; so let them be loving, harmonious, peaceful and joyous thoughts. Thoughts are vibrations, and it is important that the right vibrations are put into everything; into everything you do, everything you handle, every letter you write, every action you take.

Your mission in the planet ….

If anyone can delve into what the deepest blockages are which are preventing world peace, you can. For a problem to be solved it first has to be identified at its root level, and then transformative measures need to be introduced. You have the courage to face the unknown, to get at the real truth, and then to make the positive changes which others would have said were never possible. Is there a conspiracy which is working against the general good and needs to be exposed? Is there a mass propaganda campaign which needs to be stopped and replaced by factual reporting? Are there oppressed people who have no choice but to behave desperately, who need to be understood and helped? Whatever the mystery is, you will be able to get to the bottom of it and implement regenerative action.

…… I enjoy your blogs - they’re entertaining and very honest. you seem to be enjoying your new found freedom which is always so fun to watch. you are what “singledom” should be like but rarely is. you embrace your freedom as a right to passage - a journey. most women look at singledom as a life sentence to be served concurrently alongside misery, lonliness and utter hopelessness with no chance for early parole. a single man in his forties is a catch - a diamond in the rough. A woman single in her forties is a tragedy, a case study for social psychologists into every frazzled mind of female despair.

basically - it’s nice to see you once again defying social and public norms and living an uncoventional yet fulfilling life. i hope you never lose that.

love,
lil sis…

Hello Joelle,

..the more I know you the more I understand your blogs.

The one that you just wrote is an expression of what I know of you. A combination of this contradiction put in beatutiful words that for those who don’t know you might sound like a true document written
with passion. The “Joelle
lifestyle” is a modern concept that makes sense since the moment there is plenty of room for alternatives in our postmodern world. We don’t need necesseraly to follow you or believe that what your saying is sacred but you give a tranquile way of perceiving things with your senses and your sensibilities. I wonder how much of what you wish to help the other does also serve to help yourself to find your own path. At the end, whether we live in a more or less contradiction, there is an equilibrium point where most of ‘it’ holds.
Although that equilibrium point varies for each one and evolves constantly.
Well done !!! And if you don’t mind I would like to explore more myself the ‘Joelle lifestyle.’ I am willing to learn

Un beso fuerte

How’s everything going? Espero que tudo bem com voce!
Thank you for the New Year’s eve blog - very interesting new adventures you are on these days. You’ve become the official South Beach correspondence it seems. Good for you! I think Brazil still has alot more flavor than Miami South Beach but then that’s just me. To tell you the truth you really want to see the real deal - where the real MONEY lives and breaths - try DUBAI sometime. . But as far as what I was reading about South Beach and all the “glamour”….really sweetie - it pales in comparison to the POSH and FLAMBOYANCE of the Middle East - or have you forgotten that we Middle Easterners wrote the book on FLASH and drop-jaw WOW-FACTOR. I’m sure you remember…haha. Whatever South Beach has - just multiply by 10 and that’s DUBAI. Bigger, Richer, More Chic, More Grand, More Opulent - JUST PLAIN MORE…! And the jewels that are adorned by these Emirates women - nowhere in the world have you seen such majestic diamonds and emeralds than on the hands and necks of these Arab Goddesses. Dubai and South Beach - the difference between “rich” and “wealth”. You know what this means dont’ you.
I’m so happy for you though. You seem very happy and content in your new “habitat” and nothing could be better than that. Your blogs are hilarious — pictures are very sweet —life is going great for you it seems.
I wish you nothing but good thins Jo - stay well and keep doing what you do best…”being fabulous”.
beijos e c/ saudades…

Joelle,
I love the blog! The pictures are just breathtaking and your writing is very funny and entertaining (in English as well as Portuguese). What sets it apart, though, are the topics you somehow dig up. They are all so hip and so elegant, and somehow you’re able to fit in asian massages, a menorah in central park, and a super new years at the Setai within 2 weeks. It’s definitely a lifestyle I will keep up with :-)
Can’t wait for more!

Chère Joëlle,
I just couldn’t believe it. I just checked my old email address’ mail box, and then, as a second thought, I checked the junk mail folder. And there it was: “Find Me!!!” from Joëlle. A few more days and the message would have been automatically deleted.
It made me very happy to hear from you. I checked out your web page, and your blog (they’re really great – you haven’t changed). fax number has apparently been disconnected.
My new email address is the one from which I am sending this message. Call me. I’d love to hear from you.

good morning joelle
thank you for giving me a reason to smile this morning. i know a weird way to begin an answer, but it is what you managed this morning.

More later, gotta go rollerblading with a friend. it is a relatively cold, but beautiful day in miami.
cheers
p.s. obviously next time you are in miami please let me know and we´ll meet if you have time.

pp.ss. funnily enough i am thinking about my (first!) trip to brasil with a friend from buenos aires. she is organizing the trip for late february. hope i can go.

Whale Rescue-A Story of Blessing
If you read the front page story of the SF Chronicle on Thursday, December 15, 2005, you would have read about a female humpback whale who had become entangled in a spider web of crab traps and lines. She was weighed down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of line (rope) wrapped around her body — her tail, her torso, a line tugging in her mouth.
A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farralone Islands (outside the Golden Gate) and radioed an environmental group for help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in and untangle her, a very dangerous proposition. One slap of the tail could kill a rescuer. They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her.
When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, and nudged them, pushed them gently around — she thanked them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives. The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth says her eye was following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.
May you, and all those you love, be so blessed and as fortunate in the New Year—-to be untangled from the things that we think are binding us.
Happy 2006!!!

Joelle’s blog on Prince.
The only frustrating thing about this blog, is that it conveys such feelings of extasy that you want it all and know. Should I finish reading the blog or should I immediately search for the video clip? Why am I not in Marakesh yet? Joelle, you surely know how to get people going

Namaste.

Putting aside the fact that I am Rachel’s father, I was taken with your talent. The commentary had an “energy” that is quite exceptional. The piece reflected as much about you as it did Rachel. It was your pace, your observations, the interaction, and your choice of words. I cannot dissect what you did other than to observe the “energy” of your piece. I have read interviews of jewelry designers in doing some research on how to “pitch” her Kabbalah jewelry to one of the major papers and style magazines. The pieces done by the magazines were mostly interviews, and I had that in mind before I read your piece. Your piece had a movement and energy; in contrast, the other pieces I read were flat and dull. Therefore, my appreciation of your work is in contrast with many other pieces that I read. I am sure I am not telling you anything you do not know. Anyone with talent knows that have that talent. If that were not enough you have a great “eye” for photography. The picture with the rings, in an of itself, is a piece of art. Photography, as we know, is an independent art form. It was particularly special because it had context to the piece. It was not just a shot – you penetrated Rachel, her designs, her spirit and gave credibility to her spirituality. Great shot! I asked Rachel what camera you used. She said some “small thing.” She said you shot quickly with little set up time. And she said that your visit was a relatively short one and one-half hours. That tells me that you have artistic talent. It is all visible in the high level of professionalism in your web page. As you know with photography, among the mass of shots you take, some are outstanding. You captured something special in that shot, and I am certain that I have not adequately described it other than to say you there was a great deal in that shot that goes with you eye for presentation, detail, and the essence of the subject. Now that Rachel has launched her new line, your “spot-on” perceptions about Rachel and the creative application of her spiritual influences, inspired by the wisdom of Kabbalah, precisely articulate the message she can use in her forward marketing. Although she has lots of favorable comment about the artistry and creativity of the hand crafted pieces, you are the first person to understand her personal passion to create unique pieces that reflect spiritual messages. For these reasons, your perceptions, as framed in Joelle’s Life-Styles, are instructional to others who lack your perceptions. For those reasons, you will always be an integral part of her successful launch of this new line of jewelry. Best wishes, Alvin Brown
